Spring 2025: inRen piano COMPOSITIONAL SEMESTER

Students learned from online courses to then create their own original piece of music.

Student then exchanged pieces to learn another student's piece for the final recital.

Peers heard their piece of music played by someone else in the studio.

Fall 2024: Fall Festival Recital and Equine Event at River Mountain and Life Center, Keezletown

After playing their musical selections, students and their families enjoyed time outdoors, chili, and horse rides!

Spring 2024: ENCHANTED Recital

Students played magical musical selections in costume and the performances were accentuated with ambient lighting and specific sound effects.

Fall 2023: CAFE Recital at the Maple Leaf Cafe in Harrisonburg's Valley Mall

Students, families, and friends enjoyed a "social" event full of hot treats and quiet games while students filled the air with music!

Spring 2023: MEDIEVAL Recital 

Students played musical selections in matching costumes with medieval flair. Participants also enjoyed watching dramatic role playing and a performance by a guest visitor and vocalist, "Hildegard von Bingen."

Winter 2022: Christmas Recital

Students played holiday selections and were gifted a handmade ornament by artist Shehzeen Sumbal of SKS artworks. iR also took a collection for a local food pantry.
