inRenMusik offers official Musikgarten® classes for young children and their caregivers in Harrisonburg, Virginia, providing joyful, developmentally appropriate music experiences that nurture the whole child.
Rooted in the internationally recognized Musikgarten curriculum, these weekly classes combine singing, movement, instrument play, listening, and creative exploration to support each child's musical, cognitive, social, and physical development.
Just as importantly, they cultivate meaningful moments of connection between children and the adults who love them.
At inRenaissance, we believe music is a powerful catalyst for personal growth and community.
Our small classes (2–8 children) create a welcoming environment where families can learn, play, and build lasting relationships together.
Classes are thoughtfully designed for each stage of early childhood development:
Every class includes one weekly session in which children and caregivers actively participate together.
Through shared musical experiences both in class and at home, families build confidence, strengthen relationships, and foster a lifelong love of music.
Whether you're introducing your baby to music for the first time or encouraging your preschooler to explore rhythm, movement, and song,
inRenMusik provides a joyful beginning to a lifetime of learning!

Discover the joy of making music together from your baby's very first months of life.
In this nurturing class, babies and their caregivers explore music through singing, gentle movement, bouncing, rocking, playful interaction, and instrument exploration.
At this stage, children learn by observing, listening, and participating alongside the people they trust most, laying the foundation for joyful, independent music making.
Designed to support the remarkable cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth that takes place during infancy, each class provides meaningful opportunities for connection while encouraging your baby's natural curiosity and love of music.
An optional take-home music kit, including instruments and/or digital recordings of the semester's songs and activities, is available for purchase separately.
These resources allow families to continue the musical experiences at home, extending the learning and strengthening the bond between caregiver and child throughout the week.

At this stage of development, children are eager to explore, imitate, create, and connect.
Musical Beginnings invites young children and their caregivers to discover the joy of music through movement, play, and shared experiences.
Each class encourages active participation through dancing with scarves, rolling balls, partner activities, singing and moving with props, playing instruments such as sticks, bells, shaker eggs, and drums, and moments of gentle rocking and connection.
Through fingerplays, creative movement, songs, and hands-on activities, children build confidence while developing coordination, listening skills, imagination, and a growing sense of independence.
Every activity provides an opportunity to explore something new, make choices, and experience the joy of creating music together.
With the support of an engaging instructor and a welcoming group environment, children and caregivers are guided into singing, moving, and participating comfortably from the very first class.
An optional take-home music kit, including instruments and/or digital recordings of the semester's songs and activities, is available for purchase separately.
These resources help families continue the musical experience at home and extend the connection between class and everyday life.
Musikgarten offers four separate curricula within the Musical Beginnings level, allowing experiences to remain developmentally appropriate as children grow.

As children grow, they begin to develop greater independence in their musical expression while caregivers learn to follow and support their child's lead.
Growing with Music encourages children to listen, sing, move, create, and participate through engaging activities such as beginning ensemble experiences, partner songs, movement activities, listening games, and songs that inspire imagination and exploration.
Through singing, dancing, instrument play, and creative challenges, children strengthen their musical skills while developing confidence, coordination, concentration, and self-expression.
Whether keeping a steady rhythm with instruments, matching pitch through familiar folk songs, or responding to musical directions, children discover the joy of becoming active music makers.
An optional take-home music kit, including instruments and/or digital recordings of the semester's songs and activities, is available for purchase separately.
These resources allow families to continue exploring music together at home and extend the learning beyond the classroom.
